I ain’t even mad anymore.
A lifetime of railing against the preposterous notion that legislation can make a day “longer” and the arbitrary positioning of the hands on the clock is going to “save energy.” And it’s gone.
I can’t even get worked up anymore. It’s too sad. There is no longer a cauldron of rage for people who say “We get an extra hour!”, there is only pity. Blind adherence to really dumb ideas makes you an easy mark. (Probably for the “Wanna buy a watch? Rollexx?” guy.)
Plus, the same people who think DST is a good idea, are probably the same people who don’t know how to set the clocks on their microwaves, anyway.
