April’s 30 Days of Biking is done. Front street? I did not bike every day. I went out of town for work, and I didn’t just take my bike around the block for no good reason, but I did ride 160 miles. (Let’s focus on that, and not that my “30 days” was actually “12.” Really? It feels like way more.)
Let’s also focus on the fact that I only drove to work twice, both because of appointments. I accepted rides, sure — but I didn’t solo commute mindlessly.
Lastly, I have taken my $100 bike 1,100 miles. That’s like 10 cents a mile. How much is gas again?
